FOSS Hack is back for its sixth edition! With the month-long hybrid hackathon, we bring together students, professionals and communities to contribute better to Free and Open Source software projects. Dive right in!
Register now to express your interest in participating! If you are interested in hacking at a localhost, hurry up, because limited spots!
Make progress towards your project,
whether it's a project you're building or an existing project you're contributing to,
whether you're coding, designing, documenting, testing, etc.
During this time,
you can also seek out mentorship and expert advice regarding your work!
Wrap up your work in a neat bow - make sure that your project has an appropriate description and a demo video. If you're writing code, make sure to add a link to the source code repository, e.g., GitHub repo.
After multiple rounds of elimination, we will be sharing the results on Monday, the 4th of May. Projects will be evaluated for novelty, completeness, and relevance. For additional details, please see FAQs.
Contribute to existing Free & Open Source Software projects from India - design, code, document, test, and more - as part of FOSS Hack 2026 and begin your journey into the FOSS ecosystem!
