Same git tricks (as posted in prev post) for project stats if you're curious about the numbers.

  • Design assets by Jeswin Josu.

Maintainers May (#1581)

City Community Map

  • The communities page now has an India map with all FOSS United chapters plotted by city. Good way to see how spread out the community actually is. (Kerala is doing the most, unsurprisingly.)

Post-Event Feedback (#1579)

  • After an event ends, attendees now automatically get an email with a feedback link. Now the scheduler handles it.

  • Note: This feedback is only read by FOSS United staff and is not distributed to organizers, so feel free to share as much feedback for us to improve and know more.

Jobs Board: Search + Filters (#1572)

  • The jobs listing page now has a search bar and category filter. Also added a closed_on date field so archived listings show when the position was actually closed rather than just disappearing.

Buy Tickets: Slot Count + Billing Summary (#1599)

Two additions to the ticket purchase flow:

  • Remaining ticket slot shown per tier on the selection step - useful when slots are limited (go grab IndiaFOSS 2026 tickets now).
  • Billing step now has a summary panel on the right showing your full order (tiers, attendees, t-shirts, total) without needing to scroll to final step only.

Speaker Form Pre-fill

  • CFP speaker form is now pre-filled from your FOSS United profile and from user's recent submission. Repeat speakers don't have to re-enter everything from scratch.

Ticketing: T-shirt Bundled Tiers

  • Higher-price tiers can now have a t-shirt included in the price (not as a separate add-on). Tracked properly in the backend so organisers can manage sizes and delivery per tier. IndiaFOSS contributor ticket is the first use of this.

Test Suite Refactoring (#1593, #1585, #1584, #1583)

  • Factory-based test pattern is now consistent across ticketing, user profiles, hackathon, and free ticket tests. More deterministic, less boilerplate per test. All credits to Harsh Tandiya for the patient work here.

Docs (#1588, #1580)

  • Incident response checklist got a clarity pass, clubs overview updated. Credits: Siddharth.
