- Making Your First Contribution: A step-by-step guide to contributing to an open-source project, from discovering beginner-friendly issues to making your first pull request.

- Git and GitHub Tutorial: Learning the basics of version control, repositories, branches, commits, and pull requests in order to proceed with confidence to GitHub.

- Student Open Source Initiatives: See how student-led open-source projects such as Google Summer of Code (GSoC), Outreachy, MLH Fellowship, and Hacktoberfest offer mentoring and sponsorship chances.

- Open-Source Collaboration Principles: Understand maintaining communication with the maintainers, adhering to project standards, and becoming an asset contributor for open-source ecosystems.
