About
A small interactive event was conducted to help the students with getting their side projects started. The goal was to make students aware of the rapid prototyping ecosystem out in the internet , encouraging them to step out and plunge themselves in the madness. The primary goal of the event was to reduce the anxiety around coding and get them to type something in the computer instead of writing codes in the notebook (it still exists) . We expect this session to give students a path to follow and hopefully enjoy the weird tech slops themselves. in the session, we covered the design thinking aspects of doing a project as well as demonstrated a workflow with code-oss and git . We also let them take a peak at github-copilot ( just wanted to show them the merits of github student developer pack). Later, we let them come up with ideas and discussed the plausibilities of doing it.
