Approved
Session Description
This session covers the topic FPGAs(Field Programmable Gate Arrays), how FPGAs enable reconfigurable computing, application of FPGAs in industry and research, what problems can be solved using FPGAs - how they are better than ASICs, difference between ASICs(Application specific integrated circuit) and FPGAs, design and implementation. We will end with a mini demo highlighting FPGA toolkit- working with Efinity IDE, HDL(VHDL/Verilog), etc.
