Reconfigurable Computing with FPGAs(Field Programmable Gate Arrays)

Approved
Session Description

This session covers the topic FPGAs(Field Programmable Gate Arrays), how FPGAs enable reconfigurable computing, application of FPGAs in semiconductor industry and research, what problems can be solved using FPGAs - how they are better than ASICs, difference between ASICs(Application specific integrated circuit) and FPGAs, design and implementation, deep-tech startups working on FPGAs, software stack/toolchain involved in FPGA development.

The session will end with a mini demo highlighting FPGA toolkit- working with Efinity IDE, Vivado, HDL(VHDL/Verilog), etc.
