OpenLake, IIT Bhilai's open-source society, is kicking off the OpenLake Mentorship Programme (OLMP) — a hands-on programme built to move students from following tutorials to actually building and contributing.
This kickoff session runs hands-on activities across each of our domains: web development, AI/ML, and game development. Rather than sitting through an overview, participants try the work directly and decide which domain fits them before committing to the programme.
What happens:
Short hands-on activity in each domain
Walkthrough of how the programme runs week to week
Q&A with mentors who went through the same path last year
Who it's for: Open to all students. One-on-one mentorship under OLMP is reserved for first-years, but all learning resources and community activity are open to everyone.
Bring a laptop. The session is hands-on throughout.
