We'll start with a brief introduction to the OpenStreetMap project, some user-oriented applications which use it, and the editing applications I use to contribute to it.
I'll then talk about some of my interests and lifestyle choices (e.g. not buying packaged drinking water, to reduce plastic waste) and how contributing to OpenStreetMap supports those interests and choices (e.g. by adding drinking water dispensers to OpenStreetMap).
We hope that participants will discover similar avenues where OpenStreetMap can help them in their daily lives, and will take up contributing to OSM.
We'll conclude by sharing some resources -
OSM-based navigation applications for end-users,
resources for developers to use OSM in their own projects,
simple editing applications for contributors,
ways to join the Indian OSM community and participate in its events.
lot's of irrelevant references but your examples in your cfp are attention grabbing and if you can get your audience to dream with you about how OSM could help them in their day-to-day it would be a big win
