Internalizing Your Rizz in Containers

Approved
Session Description

Whenever you began learning Containers, you probably would have come across terms like Dockerfile, docker image or docker run and docker pull but did you hear about terms like dockerd, containerd, shim, runc? Furthermore, the evergreen dilemma of what a container is might have rocked your world too - Is it a VM? Is it a Linux Process? What the heck it is? Answering all these questions and learning containers from the bottom up, this talk will take you on a journey where you can pull every detail of actions that go behind the scenes when you do that docker pull or docker run next time. If you are a beginner and starting with containers, this talk is especially for you to begin with containers and learn to run them without docker - yes that's the magic planned! Run and see yourself (Yes, a pun is intended here that will unravel more in the talk!)
