Deepfake detection

Deepfake refers to synthetic media created using artificial intelligence (AI), typically deep learning algorithms, to manipulate or generate visual and audio content that closely resembles real people, actions, or speech. Deepfakes are often used to swap faces in videos, mimic voices, or create entirely fictional scenarios, blending them convincingly with genuine content.

While deepfakes have creative and educational applications (e.g., in entertainment, gaming, or simulations), they also pose ethical concerns, such as spreading misinformation, creating deceptive content, or violating privacy.
