Unified LMS and campus platform that centralizes academics, events, and collaboration
UniVerse is an open-source unified academic platform designed to simplify university digital life by bringing multiple fragmented systems into a single application.
Students today rely on several disconnected platforms such as university portals, LMS systems, communication tools, online meeting platforms, and social media pages to manage academics and campus activities. Tracking assignments, announcements, events, and deadlines across these platforms is inefficient and often leads to missed information and reduced engagement.
UniVerse aims to solve this problem by providing an all-in-one campus ecosystem that integrates academic management, collaboration, and student engagement features under one platform. The system includes role-based dashboards for students, teachers, and administrators, course and assignment management, discussion forums, integrated online classes using open-source video conferencing, automated deadline reminders, and centralized announcements.
Additionally, UniVerse introduces dedicated spaces for university clubs and events, allowing students to discover and register for activities without relying on scattered social media updates.
Built using a modern full-stack architecture with open-source technologies, the platform is designed to be self-hostable, scalable, and extensible for educational institutions. The goal is to create a practical Free and Open Source Software solution that improves accessibility, organization, and collaboration in academic environments.
