Overview

PsychEdge Pro is an open-source, AI-powered trading psychology platform that unifies live market data, AI signal generation, sentiment intelligence, behavioral coaching, smart alerts, and paper trading into a single environment — built with React, Express, PostgreSQL, and Groq LLM. It is the only platform that watches the market and the trader's psychology simultaneously, creating a closed feedback loop that makes traders measurably better every week.

The Problem

Most retail traders lose money not because they lack market knowledge — but because they trade emotionally across fragmented tools with zero feedback on their own behavior. They juggle TradingView, Twitter, Telegram, Excel, and signal apps simultaneously, losing focus on every context switch.

Beyond the fragmentation, the deeper problem is psychological: revenge trading, FOMO entries, cutting winners early, holding losers too long — the same mistakes repeating week after week with zero awareness and zero intervention. No existing open-source platform solves both problems together.

What It Does

Live Market Dashboard

Real-time prices, volume, and technical indicators across Stocks, Crypto, and Forex unified in one WebSocket-powered feed with 10-second refresh intervals. The dashboard shows portfolio P&L, win rate metrics, discipline scores, top movers, and inline sparkline charts — everything a trader needs without leaving a single screen.

AI Signal Engine

Powered by Groq's Llama 3.1, the signal engine generates direction (long/short), confidence scores, entry/target/stop-loss levels, and automatic pattern detection — momentum, reversal, breakout, trend, and range — across configurable timeframes of 1H, 4H, 1D, and 1W. AI analyzes. Trader decides.

Trade Journal with Behavioral Tagging

Log trades with ticker, direction, quantity, entry price, and pre-trade emotional state. Close trades with exit price and P&L. Every trade is automatically scanned for psychological risk events — revenge trading, FOMO entries, and low discipline — and logged to a behavioral timeline for later analysis.

Psychology & Behavioral Engine

The core of PsychEdge Pro. Tracks emotional state before and after every trade (calm, anxious, excited, fearful, revenge). Maintains a live discipline score from 0–100 with trend analysis. When dangerous patterns are detected, real-time WebSocket intervention alerts are pushed directly to the UI before the bad trade happens — not after.

Smart Alerts System

Multi-condition alert builder with AND/OR logic supporting price levels, volume spikes, RSI overbought/oversold thresholds, and sentiment shifts simultaneously. Alerts track trigger counts and timestamps. Each alert can be toggled or deleted without losing its history.

Weekly Mind Report

Every week, an AI-generated psychology report delivers total trades, win rate, cumulative P&L, average discipline score, emotional pattern distribution, and personalized improvement suggestions — all derived entirely from the trader's own data. Delivered in-app and via Telegram bot. The weekly rules become the starting checklist for the next week, closing the feedback loop completely.

The Closed Loop

Market data feeds signals → signals inform trades → trades trigger autopsies → autopsies populate behavioral analytics → analytics generate the Mind Report → Mind Report feeds better behavior next week. Nothing leaves the loop.
