I’m Aashish Niranjan Barathykannan, an Electronics and Communication Engineering student and technology builder working at the intersection of AI hardware, VLSI, embedded systems and robotics.

I enjoy turning research ideas into working hardware and open-source projects; from AI accelerators and ASIC architectures to IoT, autonomous systems and intelligent sensing.

My current interests include:

• AI/ML hardware and accelerator architectures

• VLSI/ASIC design and verification

• RISC-V and FPGA-based systems

• Embedded AI and edge computing

• Robotics and intelligent sensing

• Open-source hardware and software

I actively participate in research, hackathons, open-source initiatives, technical communities and engineering projects. I’m particularly interested in building technology that connects algorithms → silicon → real-world systems.

I’m also interested in technical communication and public speaking, with a focus on making emerging technologies such as AI hardware, semiconductor technology and VLSI understandable to students and early-stage engineers.
